5.2-magnitude quake hits 135 km WNW of Panguna, Papua New Guinea

NEW YORK — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 135 km WNW of Panguna, Papua New Guinea, at 16:42:04 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 91.5 km, was initially determined to be at 5.70 degrees south latitude and 154.43 degrees east longitude.
