At around 5:00 am (local time), Israeli settlers received warnings about an incoming Iranian missile strike on Tuesday.
First wave of strikes
Sirens sounded across settlements and occupied territories in the north and in the al-Naqqab desert.
Israeli media outlets said that no hits were recorded in this attack.
Second wave of strikes
The Israeli Home Front Command warned of another missile attack from Iran minutes later, which targeted central areas, such as Tel Aviv and al-Quds. Footage of one impact in the al-Naqqab desert, specifically in Bir al-Sabee’, began circulating soon after.
Israeli media outlets reported that a seven-story building sustained a direct missile strike, causing significant damage in the area.
Moreover, the Israeli military command said that search and rescue teams are operating in several areas where impacts were reported.
Later, Israeli emergency services said that they are treating three settlers in critical condition, one in moderate condition, and five lightly injured in Bir al-Sabee’. Reports also indicate that eight settlers were killed in the attack. Furthermore, Israeli emergency services said that they are working on freeing settlers stuck under the rubble of the impacted site.
Third wave of strikes
The Israeli military command warned of a third wave of strikes at approximately 6:15 am (local time).
Sirens sounded in central areas, including Tel Aviv, and the southern occupied city of Bir al-Sabee’ for the third time today.
Fourth wave of strikes
Subsequently, at 6:33 am, the Israeli military command sent out a message to settlers saying that they are now “permitted to leave a protected space, but the public in several areas across the country must remain near a protected space.”
Just a minute later, the Israeli authorities instructed settlers to get back to protected areas, as a fourth missile attack was launched from Iran.
Sirens started sounding in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas at 6:41 am.
