Nine killed, including three children, in Israeli airstrikes on central and southern Gaza

GAZA — Nine individuals, including three children, were killed early this morning due to Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip. Several others were injured in the attacks.

According to local sources, rescue teams recovered the bodies of nine victims and pulled out multiple injured individuals from the rubble of a house belonging to the Al-Naami family in Al-Maghazi refugee camp, located in central Gaza. The casualties were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the nearby city of Deir Al-Balah.

Additionally, medical teams from the Palestinian Red Crescent evacuated several injured individuals to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

These injuries resulted from artillery shelling and gunfire targeting tents of displaced families in the Mawasi area of Rafah, located in the southern part of the Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,399 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 107,940 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
