FRANKFURT, May 25 – Three people were killed and six others were injured Sunday in a car accident on a highway in western Germany.
A nine-seat minibus crashed and overturned early Sunday morning on the highway near the western German town of Bassenheim, according to the fire brigade.
Rescue teams arrived at the site of the accident and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, it said.
Local media reported that the accident occurred at around 3:05 a.m. local time (0105 GMT) and the cause remains unclear.
Some of the passengers involved are foreign nationals, police said.
