
ISTANBUL – At least 50 more Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in fresh Israeli attacks on the war-torn Gaza Strip, medical sources said Monday.
Seven people lost their lives and 22 others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a gathering of civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Al-Adwa Hospital in the area said.
Two more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a college sheltering displaced families near the Al-Saftawi neighborhood in northern Gaza City, medics said.
Medical sources said at least 19 Palestinians were also killed and several others remained missing under the rubble following Israeli airstrikes on homes in southern and central Gaza early Monday morning.
An Israeli airstrike on a family house in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, killed one woman and injured several others, eyewitnesses reported.
Also, three Palestinians were killed and several others injured when Israeli forces bombed a home in the al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Five more Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces bombed an apartment in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Another 10 people were killed and more than 30 injured in another airstrike targeting a three-story house in the “Japanese” neighborhood west of the city.
In a separate attack, three Palestinians were killed and several others injured when Israeli forces bombed a home in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
