TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the process of Iran’s “national revenge” against the Zionist regime has just started, reminding Israel that it will have to pay the price for its crimes.
In a statement released on Sunday, June 15, the IRGC Public Relations department declared the loss of seven senior commanders of the IRGC Aerospace Force who were martyred along with Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the force, in an Israeli strike in the wee hours of Friday.
The statement confirmed that Mahmoud Baqeri, Davood Sheikhian, Mohammad Baqer Taherpoor, Mansour Safarpour, Masoud Tayyeb, Khosro Hassani, and Javad Jarsara were martyred in the terrorist and cowardly attack by the Israeli regime.
Highlighting the IRGC’s severe and decisive response to the Israeli attack shortly after the act of aggression, the statement said, “This is just the beginning of the course of ‘national revenge’. The Zionist regime must bear in mind that the era of unpunished crimes has ended.”
The IRGC stated that the fake and occupying Zionist regime is doomed to destruction and downfall.
The statement emphasized that the martyrdom of the IRGC Aerospace Force commanders will strengthen the Iranian nation’s resolve to stand against the Zionist regime and its supporters.
